One 1902PB $10 Tombstone, AZ CH#6439 National Currency Note Fr.628 PMG Very Fine 30 Net. A scarce example from this legendary Old West community known as "The town too tough to die" and famous as the scene of the fabled gunfight at the OK Corral. Once a thriving boomtown of 15,000 people sitting atop massive silver deposits worth, by some estimates, fifty to seventy five million dollars, the town shrunk nearly to extinction by the time this bank received its charter, with the population dwindling to under 1000 early in the 20th century. Notes from this bank, the only issuer in Tombstone, have always been regarded as ultimate trophy items. This is a prime example of a "grail" note and will certainly be a hit with collectors. PMG Certified.
